About The Company

Established in 2004, Low Country Painting, LLC, formed through the acquisition of its predecessor Low Country Painting Contractors, Inc (1984-2003). Since that time, Low Country Painting has completed thousands of painting projects and amassed an extensive portfolio throughout the South Carolina Low Country.  Our projects consists of ground up commercial, renovations, historical and existing residential repaints.  We pride ourselves on being a solution-oriented painting company that applies high quality, durable paint coatings which protects your home, commercial property and business. 

2nd Generation Family Business

Low Country Painting was founded in Summerville, SC by John Hodges in 2004. After 17 years in the business, John retired in 2021 and project manager/estimator, Randy Hodges, assumed daily operations and company ownership in October 2021. Randy was raised in Summerville, SC and is alumni of the Citadel Graduate College (2016). He resides in Summerville with his wife Emily and two daughters, Harper and Hannah.

Low Country Painting, LLC is 100% compliant with local and federal regulations in addition to being fully licensed, bonded and insured. Upon award of any project, certificates of insurance are available upon request to our residential and commercial customers.

EPA Lead Safe Certified Firm
