Low Country Painting recently completed the exterior repaint of the Colleton County Historic Courthouse, a large-scale commercial project encompassing 20,000 square feet.
The scope included full preparation and repainting of the courthouse’s exterior elevations, detailed caulking and painting of 89 new windows, and refinishing of entry doors, handrail systems, and steps. To preserve the historic character of the building, our team also painted all interior window trim to seamlessly match the existing finishes.
We used PPG Paints for lasting durability and a historically appropriate finish. Given the size and complexity of the courthouse, the project spanned six months, ensuring every detail was handled with care and precision.
This project reflects our commitment to combining craftsmanship with respect for historic properties in the lowcountry, delivering results that enhance both the beauty and longevity of the courthouse.
